It's as if by magic, the shards of crystals depending upon the areas of the Highlands they were retrieved from, seem to come to life when the energy field is used to attune the charge of the crystal itself to a specific frequency. The base frequency ,that my predecessor Dr. Colins had discovered, that the crystals emit is rather powerful especially when compounded together. With the previous generation of study we were able to isolate the energy emittance and master the transference and storage of the energy from the crystals. This couldn't have come at a better time, as news from back East of growing concerns of how to keep up with the growing demand for the energy that citizens now knew could be available. This has allowed us to determine a measurement range and I believe that with continued effort, we will be able to create a containment grid that will allow us to limit direct exposure to the crystals. It has been determined through my experiments that the crystals, are extremely volatile, and under the wrong conditions could be very deadly. An energy grid, will allows us to track and distribute the energy of the crystals, by allowing us to take the danger away from the citizen.

The Resonant Frequency of the crystals that I mention in my opening line as yet to be fully determined, but it is clear to me, at least as a theory, that these crystals themselves are pure energy and if they are indeed the remnants of our ancestors liberators, then I dare say, I believe these crystals can do much more then power mere trinkets and devices. It will be my life's work to unlock the potential here.
